So I don't update here very often. So I thought I would. For Christmas I got a camera, and I've been playing with the close-up setting on it, and it is pretty sweet.

I hope to be posting more stuff soon, now that I have my camera! Whoo!

I just started vlogging on YouTube ([link]) and also browsing other videos. I have been noticing how much nicer people's comments are on dA than on YouTube. I figure it is for a few reasons:

-Being an artist community, dAers tend to be more accepting, and not judgemental.
-What most people on here are for is art, to grow as an artist, and to see other's art. They will comment on someone's progress as an artist, or how they enjoy how they did a piece, instead of flaming them or saying "ur pic is stoopid"


I personally haven't recieved any mean comments, but it still annoys me when people flame other people's work, especially if it is something they have put a lot into, much like the art here. So thank you, lovely dAers. I heart you all!

So with my new(ish) laptop, I have been taking photos, having fun posing, etc etc. It has made me think, maybe stock photography would be fun! I could totally get into that. I just need a working digital camera, which I've been asking for for Christmas for a while. And I could even do it at school when I am not doing schoolwork and other stuff.

The last few weeks have been quite action packed! I went with my friend to get Deathly Hallows, not at midnight, but at 1 am. I'm reading it again, and for the sake of not spoiling people, I won't go into major detail, except to say I LOVED IT.

Last week I went to see the movie Hairspray (for some reason I have trouble typing Hairspray. I keep getting the s and p mixed up). It was AMAZING. OMG. Nikki Blonsky rocked! Elijah Kelley is awesome (and very cute, I might add ) and I have an all new respect for Zac Efron. I'm going to see it again next week!

Also, yesterday I got my wisdom teeth out. It wasn't too bad, but I'm still sore. The painkillers are not happy. Last night at about 2 am I got up to take the dog out, and fell--twice. I couldn't stand! It scared me real bad.

I'm about to go to college, so I don't know if I'll be posting more stuff. I want to play around a little more with photography. I am really excited about college. I'm going to be a musi major, and minor in theatre!

I'm really glad that everyone liked my photography, but I was really hoping to get more recognition for my manipulation "Deafening Silence".

I'm sure that not everyone has that taste, but I was really proud of it. I think that a lot of people just did not see it, or take the time to look. I know I don't have many people watching me, but I would like people to see it!

Just so you know, I'm not angry, I'm just a little disappointed.
